Plaster and restoration handoff

Dry-to-Finish Handoff

For plasterers and restoration businesses handing over a dry, remediated and paint-ready area for final painting.

Audience

Who this handoff suits

Plasterers and restoration businesses whose upstream repair, remediation and plaster work is complete.

Purpose

The handoff problem

It gives the customer a clear next step for final painting without asking the partner to transfer customer details, photos or documents.

Five steps

How the handoff works

The partner shares the page. The customer controls contact and consent. Pars reviews only the requested painting work.

Confirm readiness

The responsible trade or customer confirms the leak is fixed, remediation is complete, the area is dry and the plaster is ready.

Give the customer this page so they can review the painting boundary at their own pace.

Customer contacts Pars

The customer chooses whether to contact Pars and provides their own project details and consent.

Pars reviews the paint scope

Pars reviews the visible painting work and asks for any information needed to decide the next step.

Quote and schedule if suitable

If the area is ready and the work is suitable, Pars provides a written painting scope before scheduling.

Before review

Ready for the next step

These points help keep the painting review separate from access, upstream repairs, approvals and other responsibilities.

Leak resolved

The source of water ingress has been repaired by the responsible trade.

Remediation complete

Required cleaning, removal and remediation work is finished.

Area dry

Dryness or clearance is confirmed by the responsible person, not diagnosed by Pars.

Plaster ready

Plaster work is complete, accessible and ready to be reviewed for painting.

Within the quoted painting scope

  • Protection within the agreed painting work area.
  • Preparation, primer and finish coats only as stated in the written quote.
  • Clean-down and a documented painting handover for the quoted areas.

Outside the painting scope

  • Leak detection or leak repair.
  • Moisture testing, dryness certification or clearance.
  • Mould assessment or mould remediation.
  • Asbestos identification, testing or removal.
  • Structural diagnosis or structural repairs.
  • Insurance assessment, coverage decisions or claims handling.
  • Plastering, rendering or remediation work.

Pars is engaged for the quoted painting work only. If the area appears wet, unsafe or not paint-ready, the painting review may pause until the responsible trade or specialist confirms it is ready.

Customer-controlled contact

Share this page or QR: the next step

Do not send the customer's information to Pars. The customer decides whether to make contact, supplies their own project details and can enter an optional non-personal referral code in the quote form.
