For customers responding to our Google Ads or ChatGPT ads, for residential interior repaints of existing Melbourne homes only. It does not apply to exterior painting, commercial work, body corporate or shared-property work, or new construction.

The two ways Pars can honour this

Pars chooses which of the following two routes applies once a quote has been assessed and found eligible:

• Route 1. Pars performs the same agreed work for 95% of your qualifying written quote total.
• Route 2. The company that issued the quote performs the work. Pars contributes 5% of the agreed total and you pay the remaining 95%. You agree the contractor and the payment arrangement with Pars before booking.

Who qualifies

• A genuinely registered Australian company carrying on a painting business, with an active ABN and current company registration we can verify.
• A public rating strictly above 4 out of 5 from at least 20 public reviews at the time we assess it.
• A genuine, current written quote for this property from that company, for work it is actually willing and available to carry out at the quoted scope and total — not an unavailable paper quote.
• A like-for-like match to the work Pars would quote: the same surfaces and areas, preparation and repairs, paint and products, coats and finish, labour and materials, access, protection and clean-up, and the same relevant inclusions, exclusions, warranty and timing, compared on the total payable including GST where applicable and any mandatory charges.

What counts as a like-for-like match

The quote you send us must describe the same job Pars would quote, item for item, so the comparison is fair:

• The same surfaces and areas.
• The same preparation and repairs.
• The same paint and products.
• The same number of coats and finish.
• The same labour and materials.
• The same access, protection and clean-up.
• The same relevant inclusions and exclusions.
• The same warranty.
• The same timing.

We compare the total payable, including GST where it applies and any other mandatory charges — not a headline figure with extras added afterwards.

How assessment and booking work

Send us the written quote and evidence of the company’s public reviews before you book anything. We assess eligibility against the criteria on this page. If the quote qualifies, Pars confirms — in writing, before you commit — the eligibility decision, which of the two routes applies, the agreed scope and total, and how and when payment is arranged. The offer cannot be claimed retrospectively for work booked without that prior written agreement.

What this offer does not include

• Eligibility is never automatic — every quote is assessed individually against the criteria above.
• This offer applies only to a quote that meets every criterion on this page.

Work outside the matched scope — a variation, an addition, or a job requested later that was not part of the assessed quote — is agreed and priced separately. The 5% arrangement applies to the matched scope confirmed in writing; additional work is agreed and priced separately.

Your rights

Nothing on this page asks you to waive any consumer right, and nothing here requires you to appoint a particular contractor against your wishes — you choose whether to proceed at all, and the arrangement above only applies if you do. Your statutory rights, including under the Australian Consumer Law, are not affected by this offer.

A simple illustrative example

This example is illustrative only. It is not a quote for any project and does not describe a real job.

Say a matched written quote totals $10,000 (including GST where applicable and mandatory charges). Under Route 1, Pars would perform the same work for $9,500. Under Route 2, the quoting company performs the work, Pars contributes $500 and you pay the company $9,500. Your own quote total, and therefore the figures, will be different.
